On real requests in Ismailia

Recordings from a captain's phone on inDrive with riders' names and photos hidden. The bar reads the request and gives the verdict. You decide.

A tired captain in his car at night looking at his phone

A request that looks good can lose you money

The number you see is not your profit, and while driving there's no time to work it out.

  • Nobody pays you for the drive to the rider
  • Fuel and commission take a big part of the fare
  • The request is gone before you finish the math
A real inDrive request list with Captain Aetos tags next to requests: few trips and preferred
On the list

A tag next to every request before you open it

You see the reason in words next to the request itself. You read the address and decide.

  • Far pickup
  • Low rating
  • Few trips
  • Avoided or preferred area

Inside the request

Open the request and read the verdict

The whole distance from where you are to the drop-off, your lowest fair fare and the road. If the offer is lower, it tells you what to counter with.

Captains ask

Before you install it

Does it accept requests for me?

No. Captain Aetos only reads the screen and writes the verdict. You accept, reject or negotiate yourself.

Which apps does it work with?

It reads inDrive, DiDi and Uber. More ride-hailing apps are coming soon.

Could my ride-app account be closed because of it?

The app never touches the ride app or changes anything in it. But each ride company sets its own policies, so we explain exactly what it does and promise nothing that isn't in our hands.

Where does rider data go?

Nowhere. Reading and math happen on your phone. We keep no screenshots, names or addresses.

Does it work on iPhone?

No. iPhone doesn't let any app read another app's screen, so Captain Aetos is Android only.
